For this year's Intersession—our week-long program of mini-electives offered just before spring vacation—students chose two half-day courses, one for the morning and one for the afternoon. Our talented faculty offered courses that covered the usual wide-ranging territory—from cake decorating to building a pedal-powered compost sifter, performance comedy to belly dancing, a photography tour of Lake Placid to felting wool slippers. Local artists Dusty Grant and Jackie Gilmore came in to lead the African drumming and dance. As in recent years, an evening exhibition made for a fitting culmination to a week where creativity, discovery, innovation, and fun were all on full display.
