North Country School is more than just a boarding school middle school. We accept students from 4th through 9th grade and offer a curriculum that conforms to national standards. Middle school-aged students will find that our challenging curriculum and supportive, encouraging environment will give them the preparatory skills they need for their next school.

With one of the highest student to adult ratios among comparable schools in the United States (3:1), North Country School is able to provide a degree of closeness with the students and support that are critical at this stage in the student's life.
